Peru Democratic Party Officers Election
The Peru Democratic Party will hold a meeting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 4th, 2008. The location will be the St. Augustines School Building. Peru, NY.
There will be an election of Peru Democratic officers for the coming year 2009. Nominations will be accepted for the positions of Chair Person, Vice Chair Person, Secretary and Treasurer.
This will be a very important meeting to attend; persons who will be filling these elected officer positions in 2009 will be setting the Democratic course for the Peru 2009 November elections. Maximum attendance and support urgently is needed for this meeting and all future meetings.
What is happening, Town of Peru Fall Election November 2009
The Town of Peru will have the following positions open for candidates in November 2009. Town Supervisor, Town Highway Supervisor, Town Clerk, Magistrates (2), and Council Persons (2). One can easily see there is a great opportunity for the Peru Democratic Party in this upcoming election. We must take the ball and run with it. This is our chance to put some new Democratic candidates in office. Things have not been going well for the Town of Peru. It is most embarrassing for Peru residents to read the daily news paper. One keeps hoping that there will come a day that things will settle down when confusion and infighting in town government will cease, but it just does not happen. Things just seem to go from bad to worse. There does not appear to be light at the end of the tunnel.
What needs to be done by the Peru Democratic Party
People who have been regularly attending our meetings, have put forth yeoman effort to accomplish the success that Peru Democrats have had to date. The bad news is that our workers and active supporters are so few in numbers in comparison to the number of registered Peru Democrats available.
The bottom line is that we must have more people step forward and take an active position in the Peru Democratic Party. If this does not happen we can only look forward to more of the same frustration that we have now.

The choice is yours to make.
Now is the time to step forward !!!
I look forward to seeing you at our December 4th meeting.
Thank you
Robert Cronin
