The final election results are in
By John T. Ryan The Clinton County Board of Elections has certified the November 4, 2008 elections. Family Court Judge, Peru native and resident Timothy Lawliss was Peru’s biggest vote-getter. President-Elect Barrack Obama also did very well in our community.

The Gazette’s progress to date
By John T. Ryan The Peru Gazette made its online debut on September 17, 2008. Between October 16th (the day we started counting) and November 30th the Gazette was visited 3060 times (about 67 visits daily) by 1,041 visitors. The site was viewed in ten countries and thirty-seven states.

Bluegrass Gospel music in Peru next Friday
Submitted by Diane Haight of the Peru Community Church The Vermont Bluegrass Gospel Project will be performing at the Peru Community Church Fellowship Center on Friday, December 12th, at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 for general admission.
