Clinton County Court Judge Patrick McGill sentenced former Peru Town Supervisor Donald Covel to conditional sentences, plus fines and surcharges in Clinton County Court today. On the 1st count of attempted obstruction of governmental administration Covel was ordered not to commit a crime for a period of one year nor to seek publlic office for a period of one year and to pay a fine of $95 and a surcharge of $20.
