Thank you Mr. Ryan for mentioning the James P. O’Connor Civil Air Patrol out of Plattsburgh in your column. You have no idea how difficult it is to encourage the media to even mention this wonderful volunteer organization. My husband and I have been members for over 6 years and my 2 children for 7. Please come down to their Squadron Headquarters to learn more about this org. and meet some of the members. The membership is slowly dwindling and they need all the publicity possible. We once had around 70 members. Now it is very low. This org. has been the best thing possible to prepare my children for their futures, besides family values, they teach sooo much more.
Very educational. thanks again.
