Clinton County property taxes rank in top 8% of all U.S. counties

The Tax Foundation released an analysis this week of property taxes in 792 United States counties. Clinton County ranks 62nd from the top for property taxes as a percentage of home values and 253rd in the amount of property taxes paid. Nine of the top ten counties for property taxes as a percentage of home value were in New York State.
