March Zoning Board Meeting approves Blake Rd. application
Leon Blair, Chairman of the Town of Peru Zoning Board of Appeals, called the meeting of Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 at 7:00pm to order.

APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY MINUTES:
MOTION: Mr. Bashaw made a motion to approve the February Minutes. Second by Mr. Bosley.

PUBLIC HEARING:
1. APPLICATION: WAYNE REEVES
Area Variance ~11 Blake Rd.
This application was heard at the February 16th, 2001 meeting but was tabled pending further information, particularly noting the discrepancies in Mr. Reeves measurements. Mr. Reeves was present. He stated he did hire a surveyor however due to cost he did not have the maps drawn up, but his new plot plan reflects the measurements according to the surveyor’s work. Mr. Falvo took the liberty of taking photos of Mr. Reeve’s property and shared them with the Board. Mr. Reeves acknowledged the code violations on his property and stated he is working toward resolving the vehicle issues and will remove the carport in the spring.
Mr. Falvo stated if the Board does grant this Area Variance he would like to see some stipulations put in the motion regarding the clean up of these violations. It was noted by Mr. Blair, and other Board members concurred, this Board is to address the application that is in front of them tonight which is the request of an Area Variance.
MOTION: Mr. Bashaw made a motion to approve a 3’.8” side set back variance on the southwest property line limited to the right front corner of the existing garage only.
Second by Mr. Bosley.

ANY FURTHER BUSINESS:
Mr. McBrayer made reference to the two vacant alternate positions, it was established this Board would submit a memo to the Town Board requesting to advertise for them.
CEO REPORT:
The Zoning Board Secretary stated the Permit Monthly Report and Open Projects Report were available if anyone would like to see a copy. It was also noted the reports are available to view on the Town Website. Mr. Glushko stated an advertisement for a Temporary Full Time Code Enforcement Officer was in the process of being advertised.

Mr. Fusco made a motion for adjournment. Second by Mr. McBrayer.
