The record high Lake Champlain water level has resulted in the flooding of homes and roads adjacent to the lake.  The road leading to the Ausable Point Campsite is covered with water and blocked to traffic. Many of the camps in “Little Peru” just north of Port Kent are inundated with water. The Giddings Road adjacent to the Wickham Marsh is closed and the Ausable River at Ausable Chasm is a tumult.
