Dog census coming – Be sure your dog is licensed
From the Office of Peru Town Clerk Kathy Flynn
The Town Of Peru Town Board has scheduled a dog census through the entire town which is scheduled to begin during the month of June. If you do not have your dog licensed, please do so to avoid possible additional penalties. To license your dog, you need to have proof of updated rabies and also proof of whether or not the dog has been spayed or neutered. Fees are $7.50 if the dog has been spayed or neutered or $15.50 if he/she has not.
Licensing takes place at the town clerk’s office and is open 9 AM-Noon, Monday thru Friday. If this is not convenient, you can mail all information to Peru Town Clerk at 3036 Main Street Peru, NY 12972, at which time all paperwork will be returned upon licensing. The town hall also has a drop box where all information can be delivered and the license will be completed. If further information is needed, please call 643-2745 ext. #2.
