NCCCA Arts Center announces lineup for annual ‘Jumpin’ in July’ Thursday Night Concert Series

The North Country Cultural Center for the Arts has released its musical guest schedule for its annual Jumpin’ in July outdoor concert series which takes place, weather permitting, on the front lawn of the Arts Center each Thursday in July.

“This is one of the most enjoyable and highly attended events we present during the year,” says Janine Scherline, NCCCA Arts Center Executive Director. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy good music and good friends in a comfortable outdoor atmosphere.

”

Scherline continues, “The concert series is in its 4th year and gets more popular every summer. This year’s lineup promises to have something for everyone, from rock and country to blues, Americana roots music to a funk and gospel combo. The series kicks off on July 5th with a performance by Girls Guns and Glory, an award-winning band from Boston. The band ‘combines elements of early rock ‘n’ roll, country, and rhythm & blues to deliver its own brand of American Roots music that satisfies like homemade apple pie.’ July 12th features the Jack Grace Band from Brooklyn whose bio claims he [Jack Grace] “rocks too hard to be country.” On July 19th, Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers return the Arts Center stage, with their self-styled brand of “Charles River Delta Blues”. The series rounds out with Funkwagon on July 26th, with ‘four part gospel harmonies set to hypnotic grooves’ that come to us from Burlington, VT.”

Admission is free and open to the public. Concerts begin at 5:30pm on the lawn of the Arts Center, weather permitting. For  the complete Jumpin’ in July concert schedule, please visit the NCCCA Arts Center’s website at: www.plattsburgharts.org <http://www.plattsburgharts.org>
