United Way plans Kick-off Breakfast and you are invited!

The United Way of the Adirondack Region, Inc. will officially kick off the United Way’s Campaign 2013 with its annual Kickoff Breakfast on Friday morning, 8:00AM, September 21st at the American Legion Post #20, 162 Quarry Road,, Plattsburgh.  The event will be open to the public with a cost of $13.00 per person or $100.00 per 8-person table.  A registration form can be found on the United Way’s web site www.unitedwayadk.org.  Please return reservation form or RSVP (563-0028) by Monday, September 17, 2012.

John Bernardi, Executive Director of the United Way of the Adirondack Region, Inc. will announce the results of the “pacesetters” campaign and introduce this year’s campaign team.  Pacesetters conduct their in-house United Way campaigns during the month of August so that they can show their leadership and community spirit by helping to get the United Way campaign off to a good start.

Campaign 2013 is underway and Campaign Chair Gayle Alexander of Denton Publications, Inc has extended an offer to anyone in Clinton, Essex and Franklin Counties who would like to get involved and become a campaign volunteer to please contact the United Way office (563-0028). The volunteer opportunity can be a very enriching and rewarding experience and your services are very much needed as they work towards meeting the $775,000 goal.
