Governor Cuomo announced last month that grant applications are now being accepted for the $25 million Connect NY Broadband Grant Program, which was created to promote and expand broadband internet access across New York State. This program was established as a result of several regional councils setting broadband access as a priority, and the main objective of the program is to help expand high speed internet access in un-served and underserved areas in both rural upstate and urban areas of New York. The deadline for applications is October 5th, 2012 at 4pm.
This information session is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Please share this invitation with anyone you think may be interested in this program.
