A December opportunity: Learn Peru history and explore the Clinton County Historical Museum
This year, the Annual Peru Historian’s “Open House” will be combined with an exhibit at the Clinton County Historical Association Museum, 98 Ohio Ave. (the “4 chimney building” on the old base) titled, “Peru’s Busy Past”. The exhibit’s Grand Opening will be Sat., Dec. 8th, noon to 3:00 PM. All are invited. Refreshments will be served.
The exhibit will cover Peru’s early lumber industry, schools, churches, agriculture and much more. The exhibit will include items from the Peru Historian’s collection as well as Peru related items from the CCHA Museum’s collection. This will be a very interesting long term exhibit lasting several months, possibly up to a year.
