TROY, NY (03/29/2013)(readMedia)– Michael Higgins of Peru has been named to the Dean’s list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Fall 2012 semester. The dean’s list recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below “C.” Higgins studies Mechanical Engineering.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, founded in 1824, is the nation’s oldest technological research university. The university offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in engineering, the sciences, information technology, architecture, management, and the humanities and social sciences.
