Peru Republicans nominate candidates for town offices
The Town of Peru Republicans caucused on Thursday, August 1, 2013 and nominated five people for town offices.
Pete Glushko for Supervisor
Kathy Flynn for Town Clerk/Tax Collector
Donald McBrayer for Town Council
Michael Farrell for Highway Superintendent
John “Jack” Lawliss for Town Justice
Donald McBrayer, Democrat James Douglass and Democrat Lana Knight will vie for two town council positions. John Lawliss and Democrat James Kirby are the only nominees for the two town justice positions. The Democrats nominated Kregg Bruno to oppose Incumbent Supervisor Peter Glushko and John Facteau to oppose incumbent Kathy Flynn for the Town Clerk/Tax Collector position. Incumbent Republican Highway Superintendent Michael Farrell was nominated by both parties.
