• The Youth Commission Program (YCP) is for student’s ages* 8-18
*Minimum Age 8 years old by December 1, 2013
• A birth Certificate will be required during registration
• The YCP will take place on 6 selected Sundays. It is a 6 week program with optional lessons for students only. The program starts January 12th and runs through March 9th (Martin Luther King Weekend is excluded and President Weekends). A rain date is scheduled for March 16th if Whiteface Mountain cancels a scheduled day due to weather. The dates of the program follow:

March 16 (rain date if needed as determined by Whiteface Management)
(Martin Luther King Weekend and Presidents Weekends are excluded)
** All children with perfect attendance, determined by Whiteface Program Director, will be offered a 7th day (March 17th) of skiing at no charge (no lessons included with this offer)
• Full day rate (lift and optional lesson) = $129
– Full day rental package = $94 (for the 6 sessions)
– Helmet is included in rental package
• Helmets are REQUIRED for ALL PARTICIPANTS and are available for rent at the Whiteface Rental Shop.
– Helmet only rental = $7 (per time)
• All students must be at the first session.
• Whiteface is requiring that all photos of participants be provided on a disc, flash drive or SD card Therefore ALL registrants need to email a picture to Greg Mills atmillzy522@charter.net
• Chaperone passes may be purchased at the Youth Commission Chaperone Rate of $235 per adult. *** A limit of 1 chaperone pass per 5 students enrolled in the program will be issued.
• Lesson time starts at 12:45 pm and ends at 2:45 pm. (a 9:30am lesson will be added for Never Evers (Red) on January 12, 2014 only).
• Students are required to be able to ride the chairlift without an adult. If you child cannot ride alone, they cannot join the club
• The students need to pick either skiing or snowboarding and stick with it for the entire program, no switching between disciplines will be allowed.
• Lesson groups will be set so they will have the same group and meeting area each week.
• All Youth Commission Programs will operate out of the Whiteface Base Lodge.
• One representative must be in a designated meeting area at all times (Ausable Room).
• At lesson time, it is mandatory that students be left at the School bell by the gondola for the instructors to separate into lessons. Parents are encouraged to ski on their own or wait in the lodge. Parents ARE NOT allowed to be in a lesson or waiting by the bell while the lessons begin. A Peru Representative will be on site should an issue arise.
