WASHINGTON—This morning, Congressman Bill Owens was presented with a Canadian flag that was flown over the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. in recognition of his work supporting U.S.-Canadian relations.
“For many years, investments in the vast and growing economic partnership between the U.S. and Canada have paid off in the form of jobs and economic growth in communities on both sides of the border,” said Owens. “I am grateful for this recognition from the Canadian Embassy and look forward to returning to the North Country to continue supporting the growth of cross-border relationships in our region.”
