The Strand Center for the Arts is Seeking Artist Vendors for the Mayor’s Cup 2015 Artist Market
Plattsburgh, NY— The Strand Center for the Arts is proud to announce the Mayor’s Cup 2015 Artist Market, where local artists and crafters may display and sell their fine-art work. Registration for vendors is now open for this event, which will take place Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm during Mayor’s Cup Weekend on the front lawn of the Macdonough Monument in Downtown Plattsburgh.
The Artist Market is a producer-only event, meaning that the artists have made everything they sell. This includes, but is not limited to, jewelry, photography, metal work, rustic furniture, quilts, handmade stationary, paintings, pottery, and jams & jellies. Potential Artist Market vendors must submit a completed application and application fee; space rentals are $25 for non-members and $20 for Strand Center members. Applications and full guidelines are available at www.plattsburgharts.org or by visiting The Strand Center offices at 23 Brinkerhoff Street in Plattsburgh. Vendors can also submit photos, which will be used for marketing purposes and can be sent with the application by mail or as JPEGS to gallery@plattsburgharts.org.
Vendors are asked to bring their own tables and booth accessories such as tents, signs, etc. Space rentals will be limited to a 10 foot by 8 foot area. Vendors will be able to start set up at 9am on July 11th.
The Mayor’s Cup 2015 Artist Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015. The market is a great opportunity for local artists and crafters to interact with the large Mayor’s Cup crowd while selling their merchandise. Contact The Strand Center for the Arts by phone at 518-563-1604, visit www.plattsburgharts.org, or email gallery@plattsburgharts.org with any further questions or for more information.
