A Community Jewel
Peru – April 30, 2016
59 degrees, sunny and absolutely beautiful at Heyworth/Mason Park about 5 p.m today. This morning volunteers planted trees along the park riverbank. This afternoon joggers, families and teens were enjoying the park and walking trail. Jerry Ero, who planted trees this morning, was back. This time he was picking up any things (cigarette butts, candy wrappers, etc.) dropped by some users. Most people are taking great pride in their park and trail. What a wonderful addition to our community!
