Volunteers Got it Done
Approximately 20 volunteers planted about 225 trees this morning at Heyworth/Mason Park. The goal was to prevent or reduce river erosion. The trees were donated by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. The program was coordinated by the Clinton County Soil and Conservation District and Adele Douglas here in Peru. It was an absolutely beautiful day to plant trees.
