Commemorating Pearl Harbor and Supporting Veterans
On Saturday, December 3rd, the Peru Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary is sponsoring a Pork Loin Dinner in recognition of the 75th Anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. On December 7, 1941 two thousand four hundred two (2,402) Americans died and one thousand one hundred and two (1,102) other individuals were wounded. Forty of the people who lost their lives on that beautiful Sunday morning were New York residents. The dinner will be a win/win/win – Great Food, Great Comradeship, Shared Memories and a donation to the North Country Honor Flight.
Cocktails at 5 p.m. Dinner at 6 p.m. $10 per person. EVERYONE IS WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!
