DEC is Seeking Volunteers to Help Maintain Trails

Do you enjoy recreating outdoors? Do you like working outdoors?
If so, DEC is seeking volunteers to maintain trails in the towns of Peru and Black Brook in Clinton County and town of Chesterfield in Essex County. You can be part of a one-day work group, a three-day once a year effort, or a few hours on numerous days throughout the year – during the week or on weekends – whatever works best for you! Get friends and family to join you. Small groups of 3 to 10 people make the workday fun and shorter. Available work includes:
DEC will provide the training, the tools, and work gloves. All you need bring is sturdy boots, clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, plenty of energy, and a positive attitude. Ambitious? Consider becoming a trail adopter. Se |
