Peru – 2,412 votes were cast not including 48 affadavits and unopened absentee ballots. Approximately 58% of Peru’s 4,295 registered voters cast ballots, up from 49% in the last non-presidential election year (2014).
Town Council: Rick Barber – 1,210; Kregg Bruno – 1,150
Town Justice: Lawrence Cabana – 2,213
Town Clerk: Dianne Miller – 2,223
Clinton County Sheriff: Dave Favro – 1,300, Matt Bell – 1,081. Favro was elected.
Clinton County Family Court Judge: Tim Lawliss – 1,823. Lawliss was elected.
NYS Governor: Andrew Cuomo – 918, Marc Molinaro – 1,281, Larry Sharpe – 56, Stephanie Miner – 22. Cuomo was elected.
NYS Comptroller: Thomas DiNapoli – 1,271, Jonathan Trichter – 979, Mark Dunlea – 31, Cruger Gallaudet – 22. DiNapolli was elected.
NYS Attorney General – Letitia James – 1,054, Keith Wofford – 1,162, Michael Sussman – 8, Nancy Sliwa – 4, Christopher Garvey – 24.
NYS Assembly: D. Bill Jones – 1,662.Jones was elected.
NYS Senate: Betty Little – 1,542, Emily Martz – 807. Little was elected.
Member of Congress: Elise Stefanik – 1,275, Tedra Cobb – 1,084, Lynn Kahn – 25. Stefanik was elected.
U.S. Senate: Kirsten Gillibrand – 1,296, Chele Chiavacci Farley – 1,028. Gillibrand was elected.
