Hudson Headwaters Health Network TeleHealth Services
Hudson Headwaters Health Network has TeleHealth services available

Just as you normally would, please reach out to your health center with your health-related concerns

Their office will provide guidance regarding which appointments to schedule via TeleHealth, which appointments to defer for now, and which ones may require an in-person visit

If your provider recommends an in-person appointment, protocols from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are in place at all of their health centers to ensure your safety

This includes screening all patients outside health centers and caring for patients with COVID-19-like symptoms separate from others

For non-health care related concerns, visit their new Community Resources page or contact the Hudson Headwaters Community Resource Hotline at (518) 623-0182 from 8am-4pm  Monday through Friday or by email: resources@hhhn.org

Recreate Local: Enjoying the Outdoors During Social Isolation
DEC and State Parks are encouraging New Yorkers to engage in responsible recreation during the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis

Birding is a fun way to enjoy the outdoors and the DEC is encouraging all to check out their I Bird NY resource for more information on birding across the state

While enjoying outdoor spaces, please continue to follow the CDC/NYSDOH’s guidelines for preventing the spread of colds, flu, and COVID-19:

Stay home if you are sick, or showing or feeling any COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, coughing, and/or troubled breathing

Practice social distancing- keep at least 6 feet of distance between you and others even when outdoors

Avoid close contact, such as shaking hands, hugging, and high-five

Wash hands often or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol when soap and water are not available

Avoid unnecessary contact with surfaces that are often touched, such as doorknobs and handrails

DEC and State Parks also encourage visitors to state parks and state lands, and other parks to:

Stay local and keep visits short

Visit in small groups limited to immediate household members

Maintain a distance from others while in places where people tend to congregate, such as parking lots, trailheads, and scenic overlooks

Avoid games and activities that require close contact, such as basketball, football, or soccer;
Do not share equipment, such as bicycles, helmets, balls, or Frisbees

If you arrive at a park or trail and crowds are forming, choose a different park, a different trail or return another time/day to visit

If parking lots are full, please do not park along roadsides or other undesignated areas

To protect your safety and that of others, please choose a different area to visit, or return another time or day when parking is available
