Credit Union Chief Financial Officer Maggie Pope commented, “‘Our new motto is All Roads Leads to PFCU.”’ The new branch office is located at 1716 Front St. in the middle of historic downtown Keeseville.
What made this growth possible? Maggie Pope said, “I think the Au Sable Forks branch was an eye-opening for many people. We’ve also enjoyed great support from the Keeseville area.” When the TD Bank closed its Keeseville office in 2019 the PFCU responded by opening a temporary office at 187 Pleasant Street. Keeseville area residents responded with many new memberships, deposits and loans.
Maggie Pope expressed appreciation to the Town of Chesterfield and Steven Fuller Construction for their tremendous support. Town approvals were timely and construction was completed on schedule. Groundbreaking took place on August 25, 2020.
The Peru Federal Credit Union serves anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or volunteers in both Clinton and Essex Counties. ATMs and Drive-In windows are operational at all branches.
