NYSEG and several businesses are are dealing with a power outage
By John T. RyanPeru – NYSEG crews are working to restore power at Tops Plaza. A malfunctioning unground power cable resulted in a complete shutdown of the stores immediately adjacent to Tops about noon Sunday.
Today all stores are open with the exception of the laundromat. A generator is supplying power to Tops. Another generator is keeping Aubuchon’s credit card machines operating, although the store is operating in darkness. Livations Liquor and Wine is operating on a cash-only basis. The outage did not affect Kinney Drugs.
