Make your calendar to either vote early, cast an absentee ballot or vote in-person
Peru has only one contested election; nevertheless, It’s very important that voters turn out to choose a town justice, James Kirby or Scott Thurber, and to cast a ballot for all candidates. It’s also important to vote on the five statewide proposals. It’s all part of being a citizen of these United States.
In-person voting takes place at St. Augustine’s Parish Center, from 6 a.m to 9 p.m., 3030 Main St., in Peru. For more information on Early Voting and Absentee Voting go to the Clinton County, NY Board of Elections website.
