April 17th: join us for the next Community Learning Series, where we’ll hear from Gary Henry, Stream Restoration Manager for the Ausable River Association. This event will begin at 6:30 pm at Peru Free Library. More details are coming soon.
- April 22nd: Town Green Up Day! Organized by the Peru K-5 PTO, Peru CSD, the Peru Lions Club, and Casella, this event will run from 8 am until noon. Folks interested in participating should meet at the Peru Fire Station to receive safety supplies, garbage bags, and road assignments. The first 50 kids who show up will receive a gift card for Stewart’s ice cream. Now that the snow’s melting, it’s a good time to clean up roadside garbage!
- April 22nd: Earth Month Cleanup with the Ausable River Association is a great opportunity to do a good deed while enjoying the magnificent scenery. You can get all the details and register here: https://www.ausableriver.org/earth%20month%20cleanup
