Adk. Regional Blood Center Plans Several July Blood Drives
PLATTSBURGH, NY – Representatives of The Adirondack Regional Blood Center, a program of the University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH), are encouraging all donors to donate blood during the summer months as the need continues but contributions decrease. Several community blood drives are planned in July to ensure an adequate regional blood supply.
The following is the July schedule of blood drives open to the public:
Monday, July 3, St. CVPH Auditoriums A and B, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, July 5, Curtis Lumber, Route 86 Raybrook, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, July 6, Holy Name Church Hall, AuSable Forks, 4 to 7 p.m.
Friday, July 7, North Country Golf Club, Hayford Road, Champlain, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monday, July 10, Champlain EMS Station, co-sponsored by Knights of Columbus #3525, Route 11, Champlain, 3 to 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 13, Elizabethtown Community Hospital, 75 Park St., 1 to 4 p.m.
Friday, July 14, Burke Adult Center, 9 to 11 a.m.
Monday, July 17, West Chazy Fire Department, Route 22, 4 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, July 18, Saranac Lake EMS Station, 2 to 6 p.m.
Wednesday, July 19, Altona Fire Department, 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 20, Mountain Lake Services, Industrial Blvd. Keeseville, noon to 4 p.m.
Monday, July 24, Willsboro Fire Department, 3 to 6 p.m.
Tuesday, July 25, Brushton-Moira American Legion, 4 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, July 26, Chazy American Legion on Route 9, 4 to 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 27, NYS DEC Headquarters in Ray Brook, 10am-2pm
Friday, July 28, Plattsburgh Lowes, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monday, July 31, Essex Fire Department, co-sponsored by Masonic Lodge, 4 to 7 p.m.
Walk-ins are also welcome at the Adirondack Regional Donor Center, located at 85 Plaza Blvd, and open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Blood collected by the Adirondack Regional Blood Center stays in the North Country, helping hundreds of people in this region. Its success rests on the generosity of donors and sponsors.
