CVPH Summer Concert Postponed Due to Weather
Ursa and the Major Key set to perform next week
PLATTSBURGH, NY (8/16/2023) – Due to rainy weather, the final act of The University of Vermont Health Network-Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital’s (CVPH) annual Summer Concert Series featuring Ursa and the Major Key has been rescheduled to next Wednesday, August 23 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, weather permitting.
“We appreciate the band’s flexibility and willingness to reschedule to next week. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will be as nice as it was for our first two concerts earlier this summer,” Foundation of CVPH Events & Special Projects Manager Michelle Senecal says.
Ursa and the Major Key is an indie/psychedelic rock band, with the group stating on its website that it has cultivated a 1960s and 1970s-inspired sound in much of their music.
Next week’s concert will benefit MHAB. The hospital will also make a $500 donation to the agency. And a food drive benefiting the JCEO Food Shelf will also take place at the event.
The hospital will keep a close eye on weather conditions as the concert gets closer next week and will provide updates on the Facebook pages for CVPH and The Foundation. Updates as needed will also be posted on the hospital website.
