Peter Keenan, Sr. Obituary

Peter Francis Keenan, Sr., 94, of Pleasant Street, Peru, died Monday, July 22, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Peru on March 18, 1930, the son of Joseph Geraldine (Ryan) Keenan.

At Peter’s request, there will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11 am at St. Augustine’s Church in Peru, with Rev. Christopher J. Looby, parish priest, celebrating. Committal prayers, military honors, and inurnment will follow at St. Augustine’s Memorial Columbarium.

More detailed obituary information will be posted when available.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 518-643-9055.
