Doheny piles up endorsements

From the Office of Congressional Candidate Matt Doheny

WATERTOWN – Matt Doheny, a Republican candidate in New York’s 21st Congressional District, continued his impressive string of endorsements Saturday by receiving support from Jefferson and Saratoga counties’ Republican committees and the Franklin County Conservative Committee.

“Matt Doheny is the best person to represent Jefferson County in Congress – and not just because he is a native son,” said Jefferson GOP Chairman Don Coon. “He is only candidate that offers serious solutions to the issues we face with unemployment, taxes and regulations. I am certain that Matt Doheny will be an outstanding advocate for us when he gets to Washington.”

“Matt has a great background in the free enterprise system and is committed to good government,” added Saratoga County GOP Chairman Jasper Nolan. “He is a great candidate and we are pleased to fully support him.”

Added Bob White, Franklin County Conservative Party chairman, said his committee unanimously endorsed Doheny because they knew he would be “an effective advocate for Conservative causes.”

White added: “The committee believes he will be a strong supporter of our Second Amendment right to bear arms and our right to practice our religion without government interference. We are confident that he will stop the increasing infringements by our government upon our rights as United States citizens.”

“I promised to unite the Republican, Conservative and Independence parties to give north country voters a real opportunity to help return fiscal sanity to Washington,” said Doheny.  “I believe my pro-growth message is really resonating with these committee members. I appreciate their faith in me as we work together toward victory in November.”

This is the latest in a series of endorsements for Doheny, a Watertown businessman.
