Peru Central Code of Conduct to receive citizen review – Parents and others invited to 6 PM gatherings Mat 14th, 21st and 30th
Parents of Peru Central students and other community members associated with the school district who have interest in helping with the annual review of the district’s code of conduct are invited to telephone the office of High School Assistant Principal Sanford Coakley at 643-6022 to reserve a seat at the Monday May 14th, Monday May 21st and Wednesday, May 30th 6 PM code of conduct meetings in the Peru Central community room, near the renovated main entrance of Peru High School.
“This annual ad-hoc conduct committee consists of students, parents, teachers, administrators and interested others. Parents and interested other residents of Peru Central who attend will help construct an updated code of conduct for students that will be put into place at the start of next school year,” according to A. Paul Scott, Interim Superintendent of Schools. “This committee’s annual review of the district’s code of conduct is part of our focus on continuous improvement efforts for programs and operations across campus. Such a review is consistent with State regulations that call for the school district to maintain an up-to-date code of conduct,” Scott said.
