The Town of Peru has a redesigned website
By Donald McBrayer
The new Town Website is up and running. Donald McBrayer is now the Town of Peru’s website administrator and has just finished a month-long project of completely rebuilding the Town of Peru website from the ground up. The new site was approved by the Town Board this past Monday evening, and went online on Tuesday.
The site address is the same, www.perutown.com, but contains fully updated information in every section.
New features include a message board on the home page with pertinent notices and happenings, an events page that currently lists the summer Gazebo Concert schedule, a historic photo library on the History page, and much more.
Future content including pages dedicated to the Youth Commission, Fire Department, Water and Sewer, and Highway Departments will be coming online in the coming months.
All document content such as minutes, zoning applications, and planning maps are in PDF format for cross-platform compatibility and quicker download times.
The site has been tested on all major browsers, and is Mac & PC friendly. If the old site loads you might need to refresh your browser cache. To do this on a PC press the F5 key, on a Mac press Command +R.
