At the Clinton County Historical Association Museum, 98 Ohio Avenue, Old Base Museum Campus
Did you know the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) women gave Elizabeth Cady Stanton and others the courage to fight for women’s rights? See how Native American women provided for their families as they were assimilated into the “white society.” Take home a recipe representing the legends of long ago. Discover how the Iroquois Confederacy, including its mothers, influenced the Founding Fathers in the formation of the US Constitution. The event is free and the public is welcome.
