BOIL WATER NOTICE PERU WATER DISTRICT
On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, the Town of Peru will be doing a planned shutdown to fix a fire hydrant. We will be shutting off the water at 8 am and it will be off for approximately 4 hours. The area that will be affected will be the homes in between Mason Street & School Street (21-51 Pleasant Street & 3 Lewis Street).
Then we will be shutting the water off again to fix several valves at 7 pm and will be off for approximately 3 hours. The area that will be affected will be the homes in between Mason Street & River Road (21 – 99 Pleasant Street & 3 Lewis Street)
There will be a precautionary “boil water” order in effect for at least 2 days after the shutdown for safety reasons. If you have any questions, please contact the W/S Dept at 518-643-8125.
