A bivalent (Omicron) COVID-19 booster will help you maximize your protection, prolong the vaccine’s durability, and safeguard your community against the virus. You must be ages 12 and older to be eligible for a Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent booster and ages 18 and older to be eligible for a Moderna bivalent booster. For both types, you must be at least 2 months out from your previous booster dose or completion of your initial primary vaccine series.
