Keeseville Site for Farmers Market Workshop April 3
On Saturday, April 3, NNY Local Foods Specialist Bernadette Logozar will offer farmers a host of no-cost, low cost strategies for selling their locally-grown and processed products at farmers markets. Those attending the 10am to 1pm workshop at the Ausable Grange Hall will also have the hands-on opportunity to create a market display.
Local organizer Laurie Davis with Adirondack Harvest and Cornell Cooperative Extension Essex County says, “This workshop is a valuable resource for not only fruit and vegetable growers but for meats, dairy and maple producers as well. Keeping up with the most current food sales and food handling regulations is important to all food producers.”
Those interested in the workshop can register with Davis at 518-962-4810 x404. #
