Award winning author speaking March 27th

Julia Spencer-Fleming will be coming to the Peru Free Library as part of their Visiting Author Series.
A critically acclaimed mystery writer, Julia Spencer-Fleming won 6 awards for her debut novel In the Bleak Midwinter – the first author ever to do so. She has gone on to write 6 novels featuring her protagonist Clare Fergusson, a former Army helicopter pilot who has become a minister and resides in a small town in the Adirondacks.
Julia was born at Plattsburgh Air Force Base and spent most of her childhood on the move as an Army brat. She studied acting and history at Ithaca College, and received her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. She lives in Maine.*
On Saturday, March 27th at 7:00pm Julia will be at the Peru Free Library to talk about her Clare Fergusson series. Her books should be available for sale. Please call Librarian Becky Pace at 643-8618 if you have any questions.
