The Peru Exercise Group celebrated a lovely anniversary luncheon yesterday at Pasquale’s. We were awaiting our checks when the waitress came to tell us our lunches had been paid for by an anonymous Peru community individual(s). We were and are still quite overwhelmed by their generosity.
“The Peru Exercise Group (Americorps Seniors) would like to thank the anonymous individual(s) who paid for this group’s 25th-anniversary luncheon on Tuesday, April 18, at Pasquale’s in Peru. The members of this exercise group were and are still quite overwhelmed by this generosity. What a wonderful community we live in, and moments like this are quite humbling. Thank you, thank you!”
