Major construction jobs almost complete
Luck Brothers Inc. has almost completed two major jobs in the Town of Peru. Today its men were paving Elm St., phase #2 of the sewer system upgrade project. At the Telegraph and Sullivan Road intersection, they’re about to complete a major culvert replacement project. The paving appears to be complete.

An unexpected gift from DOT
Photos of Peru’s new State Route 22 – Maiden Lane stop sign. NYS DOT installed the sign yesterday morning without notifying town officials. A witness said some cars stopped and others didn’t. At one time, traffic was backed up a small distance.
