Covel will not be jailed or on probation – He received conditional discharge and fines on each count

By John T. Ryan Clinton County Court Judge Patrick McGill sentenced former Peru Town Supervisor Donald Covel to conditional sentences, plus fines and surcharges in Clinton County Court today.

Covel sentencing will take place tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.

Former Peru Town Supervisor Donald Covel will appear before Clinton County Judge Patrick McGill on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. for sentencing.

Supervisor and Town Clerk Tally

In the vote for Town Supervisor Peter Glushko had 1252 votes, Tom Powers 335 by my tally. In the vote for Town Clerk Kathleen Flynn had 1132, Lana Knight had 887. These results will be verified tomorrow.
