The Town of Peru Water & Sewer Department will be closing Maiden Lane from State Route 22 to Holden Ave on Thursday,  July 22th  from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm to replace a water line. There will be NO through traffic including Emergency vehicles during that time period.

  Next week Rifenburg will continue to have Elm closed from Rt. 22B to Sandborn Lane for sewer main and manhole install. Crews will also be working on directional drilling on Rt. 22 from Valehaven to the gazebo. Sidewalk work and possible road paving on Northbend St. so expect disturbance to traffic.

Peru – Construction personnel met behind the Peru Community Church this morning to discuss details of Peru’s sewer upgrade project. On February 8th, the Town approved a $3,727,930 contract with Reifenburg Contracting of Troy, NY. The project will continue throughout the summer. Peru’s water-sewer personnel assisted by Ed. Garrow Construction is working to restore sewer service to Pasquale’s Restaurant and Bar. The sewer line break forced Pasquales to close late Saturday and all day Sunday. The restaurant hopes to be back in operation later today.
